Delivery & Pick Up Services FAQ's

 

1. Does the weather affect delivery or pick up? 

White Glove Delivery & Pickups will proceed on schedule within normal weather conditions, such as sunshine, rain storms, etc. In the case of extreme weather and/or closing of our Distribution Center, you will be contacted by our staff to reschedule your White Glove Delivery or Pickup. * If the weather conditions are unfavorable for Pick Up, please call us to see about rescheduling. 

 

2. What do we mean by "defect"? 

This does not mean there won't be any imperfections on the item(s) - nothing is 100% perfect, but we do look for anything apparently wrong. Keep in mind that woods & leathers have natural variations in grain & character. Again, imperfections are not necessarily defects. 

 

3. Are there any repair costs if damage occurs during a delivery or pick up service? 

Customer Service is responsible for communicating any possible charges that may arise during the repair process. 

 

4. Will we remove old mattresses? 

We CAN remove old mattresses from your home when we deliver new mattresses, but you MUST HAVE purchased a mattress bag from us in order to do so.

5. What happens if I miss my pick up day? 

If your purchased items are not picked up within 5 days from the agreed pick up date, they will be re-racked in our warehouse and a $25.00 fee will be charged.  

6. Do we remove old furniture? 

We do NOT remove your old furniture. It is up to you to make sure your space is cleared out and ready for your delivery. 

 

7. Can we do same-day pick up? 

Same-Day Pick Up is offered on a case-by-case basis, but the item(s) will be in the box, unassembled, & uninspected. If there are damages when the item is unboxed, the guidelines for "Pick Up Service" apply. 

 

8. Is a check-in needed at time of pick up? 

No, once at our Distribution Center, you can simply back up to our "Customer Pick Up" door at the front of the building. (The large, glass door labeled "Customer Pick Up"). From there, our staff will assist you.


9. What if damages occur?

If damages occur during the loading, transportation, & placement of your White Glove Delivery, Adcock Furniture & Design is held responsible. A Service Ticket will be created & handled by Customer Service. If it requires the item to be returned to our facility, our Delivery Team will pick it up for repairs & deliver it back when completed - as long as it falls within our service area.* 

If any damages occur, the customer is responsible for returning the purchased item(s) to our facility for damage review by Customer Service. In-home service during the manufacturer warranty period is only available on delivered items within our service area.*
