Inspired by the rugged solid wood roads that America traveled, Eastburn is a tribute to the sturdy resolve that is our heritage. Every solid wood board presents its own personality while playing a part in the broader story. Avoiding unnecessary embellishments, the beauty of the furniture's construction is enough.

The collection features a casual, organic style that blends modern and vintage design influences with the natural character of solid wood furniture. Two finish choices are available across the assortment:

• Stone - a natural brown tone that lightly shades the pine lumber
• Charcoal - just as the name suggests, except these pieces feature the contrasting Stone finish on the tops for a two-tone look

What to Expect: The Kincaid Difference

It's been said that "things aren't made the way they used to be," but at Kincaid, that's not exactly true. While several enhancements have been made since our beginnings in 1946, we still use solid wood construction, english dovetails, and hand rubbed finishes to craft our wood furniture. And the same can be said for our upholstery. Over the past 30 years, Kincaid's upholstery operations in western North Carolina have built quality, bench made upholstery one piece at a time. And like Kincaid's solid wood furniture, the upholstery has also benefited from a number of enhancements that continue to add value for the customer.

Solid Wood Construction

Genuine solid wood is used on all exterior panels and shaped edges to provide quality and beauty that will last for generations. Kincaid does not use veneers, which often crack and peel over time. Edges are typically "banded" with a strip of solid wood to simulate solid wood construction, but below the veneer is particleboard. In certain instances Kincaid Furniture may use other construction methods to offer the most useful, practical, and/or the safest function to consumers.

Eastburn Bed

Description

The Eastburn Bed might be the centerpiece that your bedroom is missing. It has a scale that suits the master bedroom while its casual lines and natural solid wood character create a calming tone. A subtle curve creates definition across the individual solid pine boards allowing a view into its old-world construction. A matching footboard and fully integrated moldings on the side rails keep the look finished and clean.

Eastburn Bureau

Description

The saying "things aren't made the way they used to be" may have had furniture in mind. But it certainly does not speak for the Eastburn Bureau. The Eastburn Bureau is the taller of the two dressers in the bedroom collection and is built using the same solid wood construction techniques. - plus a few new bells and whistles.

Eastburn Mirror

Description

A more eclectic bedroom look can be achieved using the Westwood mirror. Designed to correlate without being too "matched up" this mirror is framed in a metal tubing motif and includes a wood tray along the front.

Eastburn Door Chest

Description

Flexible storage pieces like this solid wood chest are a great way to stay organized and can add some character to the bedroom. The Door Chest features a sliding door to either expose the shelf area for display, or keep it out of view.

Eastburn Drawer Chest 

Description

A true storage workhorse, the chest of drawers is built to function well for generations. This particular drawer chest also features two removable dividers in the second and third drawers from the top to keep things organized.

Eastburn Nightstand 

Description

Bedside tables and nightstands just do not get the credit they deserve. other than the bed, this is the item that is most likely to be in every bedroom. So why cut-corners on such a key piece. The nightstand bucks that trend both in terms of style and function. From a styling perspective, it get treated to the same framed solid plank end panels to make it look great from any angle. Functionally, it features three full-depth drawers for real storage, an electrical outlet in the back for access to plug in, and a night light to assist in the dark.
